For Editors & Agencies

AI rough cuts your editors can
actually finish

Most AI clippers hand you a flat MP4 and a dead end. Nova finds the moments and drops the dead air, then exports a real timeline — EDL or FCPXML — so your editors open the cut in Premiere, Final Cut, or Resolve and finish to your standard. AI speed on the logging, no surrender on the final look.

Export a timeline, not just a render

CMX3600 EDL or FCPXML, frame-rate selectable, pointing at your source media — the cut opens as an editable sequence in your NLE, not a flattened video you can't touch.

Kill the logging hours

Nova scans the long video and ranks the moments, so editors review a shortlist instead of scrubbing a four-hour timeline. The tedious part is done before the project even opens.

Finish in the tool you know

Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve — grade, mix, and polish where you already work. Nova is an assistant on the timeline, not a black box that owns the edit.

Questions? Answers.

Can I export clips to Premiere or Final Cut?

Yes — Nova exports your edit as a CMX3600 EDL or an FCPXML, frame-rate selectable, so it opens as a real timeline in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve. Most AI clippers only hand you a rendered MP4.

EDL or FCPXML — which should I use?

EDL is the universal, timecode-only format nearly every NLE imports — the safe default. FCPXML carries named clips and timeline structure, ideal for Final Cut and Resolve. Match your project's frame rate either way and keep the original source file for relinking.

Is the editor export on the free plan?

Timeline export (EDL/FCPXML) is a Pro feature. The free tier lets you try the AI clipping itself with no card so you can judge the moment selection first.
